Benefits

We offer the following benefits to all regular employees who are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week:

HEALTH BENEFITS

Healthcare Plan  
GeoEngineers pays the full premium cost of a comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance plan for our employees. We also subsidize a portion of dependent premium costs for an employee’s spouse/domestic partner and/or dependent children. Coverage starts on the first day of the month following start of employment.

Flexible Spending Account
We offer a tax-free spending account for non-reimbursed medical/dental expenses or dependent (elder care or day care) expenses.

INCOME PROTECTION BENEFITS

We provide eligible employees and their families with income protection through various insurance programs.  We pay the full cost of basic employee coverage for the following programs:

 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

INVESTMENT BENEFITS

401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan
Employees may make pre-tax contributions to the GeoEngineers' 401(k) Plan starting the first of the quarter following date of hire.  GeoEngineers will match employee contributions at 50% of an employee's first 6% of eligible compensation following enrollment.

We may also make an annual discretionary profit sharing contribution to the Plan.  Eligible employees include all who have worked 1,000 during the calendar year and are active at year end.

Stock Ownership
GeoEngineers is committed to internal ownership and broad participation by our employees. We encourage stock ownership as a way for our employees to have a vested interest in our business and share in the financial success of the organization.  Employees are generally eligible to purchase company stock following one year of service.

PAID TIME OFF

Vacation and Sick Time
Employees accrue paid vacation and sick time based on years of service. Regular part-time employees working at least 20 hours/week but less than full time accrue vacation on a pro-rated basis.

Holidays
GeoEngineers provides eight (8) designated paid holidays per calendar year.

ADDITIONAL PERKS

Discretionary Bonus
The Company may provide annual discretionary performance-based bonuses to eligible employees.

Employee Assistance Program
We pay the full cost of an Employee Assistance Program for our employees, available 24/7.  This program includes a nurse line for employees' convenience. 

Fitness Subsidy
To promote the health and wellness of our employees, we partially subsidize gym membership costs for eligible employees.

Public Transportation
The Company provides a generous subsidy towards the cost of public transportation for eligible employees, which generally covers the full monthly cost.

Field Clothing
We provide field clothing for staff whose responsibilities require protective equipment.

Company Store
The Company provides substantial discounts on GeoEngineers' branded products via an internal website.

Voluntary Benefits
Employees may purchase supplemental life insurance and long term care insurance at discounted group rates in addition to the basic coverage provided by GeoEngineers.  We also offer access to pre-paid legal services and identity theft shield benefits.  Employees pay all premiums associated with these voluntary benefits.
