A hydrologist on the Water and Natural Resources river team, Jon manages diverse projects with water-related considerations. From restoring river habitat to evaluating stream scour for pipeline projects to predicting hydroelectric dam power generation levels, Jon works in every market and sector GeoEngineers serves.

Jon applies his broad project experience to project planning, seeing the big picture and anticipating potential flaws. He enjoys analyzing complex hydraulic and geomorphic problems and favors designing practical solutions that make processes work better for GeoEngineers’ municipal, utility and industry clients. Citing recent consulting trips to a gold mine in Mexico and a gas pipeline in Utah, Jon says he values the travel, “river walking” and big range of project opportunities at GeoEngineers.

His passion for rivers, traveling and the outdoors spills over into his week-long white-water kayaking and backcountry ski trips. Jon has already introduced his young children to boating in slow waters, and declares, “We are going to be a rafting family.”
