Eric first learned the importance of environmental stewardship from watching “Wild Kingdom” and Jacques Cousteau nature shows when he was young. He credits these influences with solidifying his resolve to develop solutions for environmental problems.
In his role at GeoEngineers, Eric provides quality management and solutions for environmental remediation projects. Eric comments, “I am working on several tasks that are new and complex—there is opportunity to explore, learn and collaborate with others to reach the best solution.”
Eric appreciates GeoEngineers’ technology tools and range of technical and support skills. He adds, “The quality of the people makes my work more enjoyable, and our commitment to excellence means that my work is something to be proud of. I am thankful to be here and to glean from professionals that I can look up to.”
As an environmental steward, Eric’s concern for the environment doesn’t end on Fridays. He loves spending time outdoors and is an avid reader. “My concern for keeping the environment we live in as clean as possible has become a career interest that dovetails well into my pursuits outside of work. Without good stewardship, the things in the wilderness I enjoy would eventually be in jeopardy,” he remarks. Eric likes to tinker with broken things and uses his woodworking skills to make toys for his children and other things that he or his family thinks up.
