Gabe was inspired to pursue a water resource career when he was young. He watched a television program that featured a stream with a fish-barrier culvert with two people peering through it. In the next scene, it showed the same stream and people standing in an arch culvert with a stream-simulated creek crossing. He said, “That’s what I want to do when I grow up!”

As a water resources engineer at GeoEngineers, Gabe manages project designs and schedules and prepares bid-ready contracts. He finds it inspiring to work for the greater good of the earth and its inhabitants. Gabe says he appreciates the ways GeoEngineers reinvests in its employees and clients. “Passionate people work here… and we are passionate about the work we leave behind.”

When he’s not at work, Gabe likes to spend time with his wife and two young kids. Gabe is an outdoorsman and conservationist who enjoys fishing and hunting and is a Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Master Hunter. The Master Hunter program recognizes hunters who show a high level of skill and commitment to lawful and ethical hunting practices and volunteer their time to help manage and conserve Washington’s wildlife.
