Joey Hickey is a senior project manager who maintains client relations, solicits new work, organizes projects and manages junior staff. He provides environmental consulting and environmental regulatory services to private industry, municipalities and government agencies and is experienced at designing and implementing stormwater management plans and remediation systems. As the on-call project manager for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the US Forest Service, Joey has managed more than 200 site-investigation and cleanup-action projects for GeoEngineers.

Joey recounts that his ten years of work on the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge project were quite enjoyable and memorable. Most recently, the project team conducted an engineering evaluation and cost analysis for lead-contaminated soil at the former military base. Joey and the team undertook extensive testing, evaluated various cleanup alternatives and determined the most long-term, effective remedies to reduce potential risks to ecological health.
