Environmental geology and remediation

It’s no surprise that Rob was drawn to work in the earth sciences, given his long-standing interest in volcanoes, rocks and natural geologic processes. At GeoEngineers, Rob is a senior project manager for environmental site investigation and remediation projects. He supports our clients’ investigation and cleanup efforts by negotiating with environmental regulatory agencies and preparing proposals, budgets, project plans, risk assessments and reports.

Rob appreciates applying his training to interesting work that benefits society and the environment and helps businesses and institutions respond to earth-science-related technical challenges. Asked what it’s like to work at GeoEngineers, Rob replied, “I like the diversity of projects and technical challenges—I’m constantly learning and expanding my experience and knowledge in new areas. I also enjoy working with a diverse group of very smart and dedicated professionals. I’m inspired by the dedication of GeoEngineers’ staff at all levels to do their best work always.”

When it comes to leisure time, Rob spends as much as he can with his teenage children. He also enjoys plying the waters of Seattle in a racing shell at sunrise.
