Seth finds inspiration in applying his longtime interest in science to work that contributes to making his community a better place. At GeoEngineers, Seth’s roles include construction inspection, laboratory testing and geotechnical evaluations. “I like being part of a company that strives to understand what our clients want. I have been on numerous project sites where the contractor has commented on our availability and willingness to help.”

One example Seth cites is the Silverwing at Sandpoint project in Sandpoint (ID). His team was called on short notice to provide geotechnical consultation and construction observation services for the project, which involved challenging earthwork. “We were able to help the contractor and client complete the earthwork operation on time. They were very pleased with our willingness to help and ability to be part of the solution.”

Seth and his wife and two daughters often spend family time attending Spokane’s many community events. Seth loves to snowboard, and says one reason he and his wife moved to Spokane was for the five ski resorts in the area. In addition to snowboarding, the outdoorsman enjoys camping, fishing and hunting.
