Wayne’s past work in several high-hazard industries inspired him to earn his master’s degree in health, safety and environmental management. At GeoEngineers, Wayne designs and implements the company’s Health and Safety Program. His many areas of expertise include state and federal safety regulations, fleet safety, workplace hazard assessments, work-related incident investigations, behavior-based safety and DOT drug and alcohol programs. As the company’s health and safety manager, Wayne is also well-versed in environmental compliance, hazardous waste management and industrial-hygiene practices and principles.

Wayne notes, “As an employee-owned company, GeoEngineers has a strong and ongoing commitment to safety and technical expertise. We believe that creating a safe work environment is a personal issue, as well as a company one.”

When he’s not helping GeoEngineers create a safe workplace and put project safety first, Wayne spends his free time—safely—hiking, golfing and exploring the beaches along the Washington and Oregon coast.
