Sondra is an environmental compliance professional with program design and management experience in a variety of industries throughout the United States and Canada. As an air quality specialist, she manages annual reporting and permitting initiatives while carefully navigating the intricate web of local and Federal regulations on behalf of her clients.

“I’ve always loved chemistry, and that eventually led me to study chemical engineering in college,” Sondra says, “my department had great environmental and energy engineering courses that piqued my interest in environmental work.”

Since launching her career in 2018, Sondra has delivered multimedia compliance services for a wide variety of industrial clients, including iron foundries, pulp and paper mills, pharmaceutical companies, railways, and even bakeries. She has performed air quality work for Canada’s National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) and excels in managing annual reporting requirements for Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) and greenhouse gas reporting. When industrial facilities need permits, Sondra is ready to help with NPDES, Title V, Minor Source, Permit by Rule, and storm or wastewater discharge.

With a technical background in chemical engineering and years of practical experience managing compliance programs, Sondra has an ideal mix of skills for an environmental consultant. She is comfortable managing every stage of a compliance project—from budgets and internal deadlines to client deliverables and billing. No matter the industry or environmental medium, Sondra approaches each client with curiosity and care. She works to understand their needs and then finds efficient solutions that respect both business interests and the environment.

Outside of her daily work, Sondra is an avid backpacker, rock climber, and aikido practitioner. Sondra enjoys being surrounded by the natural world even at home, thanks to her thriving collection of house plants!
