Master’s degree in environmental engineering or related field strongly preferred.</li><li>0 to 3 years of environmental consulting or related professional experience.</li><li>Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.</li><li>Familiarity with environmental field investigation (soil, sediment, groundwater and vapor) and oversight of cleanup construction preferred.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to organize and compile accurate field data and observations.</li><li>Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>Works well independently and collaboratively as part of project teams and GeoEngineers’ environmental group.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication and technical writing skills.</li><li>Valid driver’s license is required.</li><li>One year of driving experience in the United States. This position partners with CAD Staff to develop drawings for engineers and scientists. This is an entry level technician position that supports a variety of projects.</p><p></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Under direct supervision of CAD staff, assists with: redlines, civil 3D tasks such as the creation of points, surfaces, alignments, and sections/profiles, processing basic CAD and engineering data sets to be used in drawings, creating basic figures, providing basic support for engineering design drawings, internal CAD standard initiatives such as detail library development, creating symbology, organizing layers in templates, etc.</li><li>Collaborates with CAD staff to meet deadlines, adhere to budgets, and ensures deliverables are reviewed for QA/QC.</li><li>Adheres to internal and industry CAD drawing production standards.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Associate’s degree preferred.</li><li>Experience producing civil and/or environmental engineering drawings and figures preferred.</li><li>Basic working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or Microstation/Inroads required.</li><li>Ability to follow written, verbal, and/or diagrammatic instructions.</li><li>Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Professional-level verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements / Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>All candidates are subject to completing a background check, and reference check.</li><li>Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., prolonged sitting and regular walking, bending, standing and reaching.</li><li>Ability to perform consistent work on a PC with prolonged view of a monitor/screen.</li></ul><p>Our best estimate of the salary for this position, located in Springfield, MO is $59,000 - $81,200 annually. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. GeoEngineers’ salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
