The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Missouri chapter honored GeoEngineers’ Direct Pipe® crossing of the Sabine Neches Waterway with a Grand Award in their annual Engineering Excellence Awards. This was the very first trenchless crossing of a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)-regulated levee using Direct Pipe® methods. The 48-inch-diameter pipeline stretches for more than a half-mile under the Sabine Neches Waterway, levee and railroad tracks in Port Arthur, Texas.
