Office Opens in Portland, OR

Several new offices were founded in 1989 in an effort to both accommodate staff preferences and attract new business. GeoEngineers established the first branch office in Portland, Oregon with a local staff of four employees.

Jim Miller Becomes Principal

Founders Establish GeoEngineers Inc.

Jon Koloski, Jack Tuttle and Gary Henderson founded GeoEngineers in Bellevue, Washington. Their vision for the company was laid out in a guiding principles document which prioritized broad employee ownership, collaboration, seamless leadership transitions and high ethical standards.

Firm Founders Plant the Seeds
