Contracts Administrator

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and subcontracts for public and private sector projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Prepares, reviews, and negotiates client and subcontract agreements and change orders in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership. 
  • Manages compliance of agreements from award through close out; including but not limited to, compliance with insurance and reporting requirements. 
  • Prepares and negotiates miscellaneous agreements; including but not limited to, Third Party Reliance, Confidentiality, and Access Agreements. 
  • Maintains insurance information in third party provider websites (ISN, Avetta, etc.) as required by the company’s clients.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and tracks subcontract insurance certificates. Monitors and facilitates insurance certificate renewal submissions.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by the Contract Administration Manager. 
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and standards and uses that knowledge to determine most effective ways of meeting business needs.

 Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field. 
  • 5 years of contract negotiation and administration experience preferred. Experience in a professional services firm highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Experience with Deltek Vision a plus. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and projects with critical deadlines; strong planning and organizational skills. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with capability to successfully create productive working relationships with individuals at all levels of responsibility.  

Physical Requirements and Work Environment 

  • Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., prolonged sitting and regular walking, bending, standing and reaching.
  • Ability to perform consistent work on a PC with prolonged view of a monitor/screen.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in Boston MA, Redmond WA, Sacramento CA, San Diego CA, Seattle WA, Tacoma WA is $52,643-$92,190. Our best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in Bellingham WA, Bend OR, Houston TX, Lake Oswego OR, Portland OR, Salem OR is $50,537-$88,502. Our best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in Boise ID, Cary NC, Kansas City KS, Kennewick WA, Spokane WA, Wenatchee WA is $48,432-$84,815. Our best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in Baton Rouge LA, Charleston SC, Nashville TN, Springfield MO is $46,326-$81,127. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. GeoEngineers’ salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. As part of our competitive total rewards package, employees in this role may also be eligible for our annual year-end bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
