The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of routine administrative support tasks. This role is temporary with a duration of 90 days or less.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with updating filing system and packaging files for offsite storage.
- Provide assistance with a variety of basic administrative functions.
- Assist technical staff with special projects/requests as deemed necessary.
- Perform errands outside the company as needed.
- Conduct work safely and encourage safe work practices of co-workers.
- Other duties and projects as requested.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to interact with clients and staff professionally and respectfully.
- Ability to follow and interpret written work instructions and prioritize tasks independently.
- Ability to place and retrieve documents on shelves or in files at floor level to height of six feet and ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. routinely.
- Valid driver’s license.
- One year of driving experience in the United States. Consideration will be provided for international driving experience.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- All candidates are subject to completing a background check, and reference check.
- Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., prolonged sitting, and regular walking, bending, standing, and reaching.
- Ability to perform consistent work on a PC with prolonged view of a monitor/screen.
- Willingness and ability to drive company vehicles and run occasional office errands as needed.
Our best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in Tacoma, WA is $19.42 – $28.32 hourly. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. GeoEngineers’ salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. As part of our competitive total rewards package, employees in this role may also be eligible for our annual year-end bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
