The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of our recruiting team, collaborating closely with our Talent Acquisition Manager and Recruiter in managing recruiting activities for openings companywide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates recruitment activities companywide, including advertising openings (ensuring accuracy and consistency in posting across sites), interview scheduling and candidate travel.
- Tracks recruiting activities and report on candidate status.
- Manages the reference and background verification process to ensure candidates meet all requirements prior to hire.
- Assists in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed, including those related to internships and university outreach.
- Creates an exceptional experience for candidates throughout the interview process identifying opportunities for improvement as well as overall recruiting process efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with applicant tracking systems a plus!
- Exceptional attention-to-detail and organizational skills with a focus on quality and internal client service.
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly, while also understanding when to escalate issues that arise.
- High degree of collaboration and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently as needed.
- Ability to work with the highest degree of confidentiality, exercising discretion and judgment as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of shifting gears at a moment’s notice, plus ability to use those skills effectively when interacting with all levels of the organization and external candidates.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., prolonged sitting, and regular walking, bending, standing, and reaching.
- Ability to perform consistent work on a PC with prolonged view of a monitor/screen.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as needed.
Our best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in Redmond or Seattle, WA is $28.22 – $42.64 an hour. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. GeoEngineers’ salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. As part of our competitive total rewards package, employees in this role may also be eligible for our annual year-end bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
