We’re still in Portland, and we found some friends.

Cascadia Associates has joined forces with GeoEngineers, a national engineering and earth science consulting firm that has been operating in Portland since 1989. GeoEngineers acquired Cascadia in June 2021, and we’re thrilled to work together on behalf of our clients.

This move is a homecoming for Cascadia owners Chris Breemer and Kurt Harrington, who both worked for GeoEngineers more than a decade ago before founding Cascadia Associates. Together with third principal owner, Amanda Spencer, they set out to build an environmental firm with the kind of down-to-earth values that GeoEngineers shares, and years later we still have a lot in common. The talented 12-person Cascadia team now has 300 additional environmental scientists, geotechnical engineers and natural resources specialists at their backs.
