Honoring Veterans at GeoEngineers

King Chin, CEO

Each year on Veterans Day, we pause to recognize the men and women who have served in our nation’s armed forces—and at GeoEngineers, that recognition feels especially personal. We’re proud to count a number of veterans among our colleagues, and we’re deeply grateful for the service they’ve given not only to our country, but to their communities and to our firm.

Yesterday, on the eve of Veterans Day, we hosted an internal panel discussion where several of our veteran team members shared stories from their time in the military and how those experiences continue to shape their lives and work today. Listening to them describe the lessons they learned—about teamwork, communication, leadership, and perseverance—was inspiring. It reminded me how much strength and wisdom our people bring to this company, shaped by diverse experiences both inside and outside of engineering.

What stood out most to me was how universal many of those lessons are. Whether on a military team or an engineering project team, success depends on trust, clear communication, and a shared commitment to the mission. Those are the same values that drive GeoEngineers every day.

Our veterans embody resilience, adaptability, and service—qualities that make them exceptional colleagues and leaders. We’re honored to work alongside them and to learn from their example. To all veterans—at GeoEngineers and beyond—thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and your continuing contributions to building stronger communities.
