GeoEngineers Welcomes New CFO, Carrie Rorem

GeoEngineers is pleased to announce that Carrie G. Rorem, CPA has joined the firm as its new Chief Financial Officer. Carrie is stepping into the position previously held by GeoEngineers principal Karen Mercier, CFO, who is retiring after more than 20 years of exceptional service to the company.

Carrie is a proven finance operations and accounting executive with a broad-based operational and financial management background. She comes to GeoEngineers from Compass Capital, a private equity and merchant banking firm where she was CFO. Carrie’s previous financial management roles in the Pacific Northwest have included Corporate Controller for Core Oncology, Inc.; Director of Finance for Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Inc. and Director of Finance/Controller for The Seattle Times Company. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the College of Idaho and completed post-graduate studies in economics, marketing and investments at the University of Chicago Graduate Business School. Carrie is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington.
