The Texas Engineering Foundation recently selected Principal Geotechnical Engineer Blake Cotton as one of their 2018 Distinguished Engineers. The annual award is presented to select individuals who have shown dedication to the technical advancement of the engineering profession.
The Texas Engineering Foundation was established by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers as a nonprofit charitable foundation, aiming to support professional engineers working in the Texas market. Cotton leads GeoEngineers’ South Business Unit, overseeing our work in the region. He has been an active member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers for years, and this award demonstrates his dedication to the organization and profession.
“I’ve spent a lot of time working on projects in Texas throughout my career, and it’s part of the reason I’ve always felt so connected to TSPE and their mission,” Cotton says. “This is an amazing honor and validation of the important work we do in the region.”
