Being in the great outdoors and thinking about ecology are two of Fiona’s favorite things, and she gets to do them both at GeoEngineers. She is a biologist who combines project management, site assessment, mitigation/restoration design, regulatory/permitting support, document research and production and field work on small and large projects.
Fiona derives job satisfaction from the variety of projects she works on and values working with people in a team environment. “We sprint at deadlines under extreme pressure, and still the entire team can enjoy each other’s company and laugh through it.” Client service is important to Fiona, too. “I get a kick out of wowing our clients on how good we are at anticipating their needs.”
It’s no surprise that Fiona enjoys being outside in her free time, running, biking, hiking or taking walks with her family and the family dog. She and her children are actively involved at the local children’s community theatre and she enjoys cheering her kids on at their various sporting events. Fiona and her family spend free time in the spring, summer and fall exploring the San Juan Islands in their Gemini Catamaran Sailboat!
