Garrett is a marketing coordinator in GeoEngineers’ Seattle office, where he supports proposal development, business development initiatives, and firmwide marketing events. Whether he’s collaborating with technical staff to produce competitive proposals or planning outreach that strengthens GeoEngineers’ culture and brand, Garrett is focused on creating meaningful connections and clear, effective communication.
“I’m passionate about the collaborative facets of marketing and proposal work,” Garrett says. “I appreciate the process of organizing the technical aspects of a proposal into a clear and accurate deliverable for clients.” That mindset has made him a valuable partner to engineers and business developers alike, especially as he works to help translate complex solutions into accessible and engaging storytelling.
Garrett has been perfecting his marketing skills since 2020, including positions as a Digital Asset Manager and a Marketing and Transaction Coordinator. In these roles, he organized complex data and created customized marketing collateral for nationally branded clients and developers. His background in commercial real estate also gave him firsthand experience working with evolving markets in the Pacific Northwest, where he developed a strong client-service approach and an eye for clear, impactful graphics.
After graduating from Principia College in 2023 with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Economics, Garrett joined GeoEngineers with a goal to strengthen collaboration between the marketing and technical teams. “I’d like to use my experience in marketing and organization to bridge the gap between the technicalities of each project and the corresponding marketing initiatives,” he explains.
Outside of work, Garrett enjoys birdwatching, photography, and getting outdoors. He often spends weekends swimming or hiking at Lake Crescent, taking film photos at Hurricane Ridge, or tracking down rare birds for his life list with his binoculars and camera in hand.
