Jamie “Mac” McLeod

Jamie is an important part of our drilling team in Baton Rouge. He’s out in the field almost every day, performing the drilling investigations we rely on for our geotechnical soil data. In his work to get the best core samples as possible, Jamie says he enjoys the discovery of just seeing what’s down there.

“I come to work to give a good day’s work, get the job done and be safe at the same time,” Jamie said. “To me, it’s like a second family.”

One of Jamie’s proudest moments at GeoEngineers was being on a barge just after an ice storm and drilling on the Mississippi River. “I just love being outside going to places that I would probably never go on my own,” he said.

When he’s not at work, you can find Jamie riding his motorcycle, going to the gym or spending time with his family.
