Khoa is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in our Boston office, where he serves as both a project manager and technical lead for development projects throughout the Greater Northeast. He helps transform neglected or outdated buildings and sites into modern, functional spaces, working from the ground up to ensure projects are safe, efficient, and sustainable.
“When approaching new problems, I keep an open mind, learn from others, and evaluate how solutions play out in the real world,” he says. “From there, I apply the most cost-effective and efficient solution to future challenges and adapt as necessary.”
He first discovered his passion for geotechnical engineering as a child watching the construction of the Big Dig in Boston. Prior to joining GeoEngineers in 2021 to help start the Boston office, Khoa worked on projects including Boston Landing and the Alcott Apartments, and later gained experience in offshore and onshore renewable energy, managing geotechnical site investigations for wind and solar projects.
Khoa’s goal is to continue sharpening his project management skills, build professional networks, and ultimately contribute to the design and construction of iconic structures. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, exploring new places, and experiencing the world through the eyes of his young daughter.
