Madhab Sharma Bajgain

Madhab is a Project Civil Engineer at GeoEngineers, where he supports trenchless design and engineering services for pipeline projects. Working remotely, he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on design development, coordination, and quality control to ensure projects meet technical requirements and industry standards.

With many years of experience in civil and trenchless engineering, Madhab specializes in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). His expertise includes HDD design, constructability reviews, schedule analysis, and cost estimating, supported by hands-on project engineering and management experience.

“I was attracted to HDD because it combines technical engineering, problem-solving, and real-world constructability in a way few disciplines do,” he explains. The complexity and variety of each crossing continue to motivate his work, particularly when solutions minimize surface impacts.

Before joining GeoEngineers, Madhab worked as a Project Engineer and Manager at Mears Group, supporting HDD and trenchless installations. His responsibilities included constructability reviews, installation stress and hydrofracture analysis, scheduling, cost estimating, and coordination with clients and subcontractors. Earlier in his career, he gained experience on roadway, bridge, and public infrastructure projects.

Looking ahead, Madhab aims to continue growing as a technical and project leader, strengthen his trenchless expertise, and mentor junior engineers while delivering practical, value-driven solutions for clients.

Outside of work, Madhab enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, and watching movies and sports.
