Expertise
Terry provides technical oversight of environmental projects at GeoEngineers, builds new business and maintains existing client relationships. He also provides leadership and collaboration for staff in the environmental group and supports the company’s strategic initiatives.
He says he likes the energy of his coworkers and the vision of the company’s leaders. “Our leaders promote collaborative team efforts in everything we do, which ultimately provides employees the opportunity to develop and follow through on their career paths,” Terry remarks. “I have been fortunate to work in team environments throughout my career, but none more so than at GeoEngineers. I have made friends that I will keep for a lifetime.”
GeoEngineers’ first prime contract with the Department of Defense demonstrates the collaboration and follow-through Terry describes. As part of the US Navy Environmental Multiple Award Contract (EMAC), GeoEngineers was awarded seven environmental projects; Terry was project manager on four of them. “GeoEngineers was responsible for all site activities, for the preparation of work plans, health and safety plans and closure documents,” Terry notes. “All project work was completed on schedule and within budget.”
Terry is devoted to his wife and four kids and says that family time means everything to him. When he’s not coaching or taking his kids to recreational activities, he does manage to squeeze in an occasional round of golf!
